We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God.
It is not an account of the history of the world, but the
redemptive history of man. It teaches believers how to
live holy lives before God and man. God speaks to man
through the Bible and we as believers should study His
word.
We believe that there is only one God creator of heaven
and earth revealed to us as the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit each fully God yet each personally distinct from
the other.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and was
conceived of the Holy Spirit and born through a virgin and
became flesh. He was both God and Man. Jesus lived a
sinless life and became an acceptable sacrifice for our
sins. He died for our sins and rose again, Jesus now sits
at the right hand of God and He is our advocate and
mediator before the Father.
We believe that we were made in Gods image and we
believe that sin entered into the world through man which
separated God and mankind. We are all sinners in need of
salvation through Jesus our Lord.
We believe that Jesus paid the penalty of our sin in
order to restore man’s relationship with God. Only through
Salvation in Jesus can we be forgiven of our sins and
enter Heaven. We believe that we cannot earn, buy or work
for salvation, but it is a free gift and a demonstration
of God’s love for us and His desire to restore the
relationship with man that was severed by sin. It is Gods
desire that out of our love for the Lord that we would
live obedient lives that bring Him Glory, and that we
pursue holy living that can only be achieved through His
strength.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God and carries out an
important role in the believer’s life. The Holy Spirit not
only draws us to salvation, but convicts us and guides us
in how to live repentant and holy lives. The Holy Spirit
also empowers us to resist temptation and be an effective
witness for advancing God’s Kingdom. The Holy Spirit also
empowers believers with different gifts that are used to
bring glory to God.
We believe that we are eternal beings and those that
have accepted and believe in Jesus will spend eternity in
the presence of God in Heaven. Those who have chosen not
to accept and don’t believe in Jesus will be punished and
spend eternity separated from God.
We believe that everyone will have to give an account
for everything that they did and did not do in this life
and God will judge us for our actions.
